Exactly! I didn’t interact with him very much, just because he took such pride in acting like a childish jackass. But I genuinely feel bad for the people who really thought they were on to something, and yet didn’t make a big deal about it.
As my old basketball coach told us when we went to the championship game, “win or lose… act like you’ve been here before.” In real life, Rocket may be an OK guy. I’ll never know. But on here, he was our version of Russell Westbrook.

shite, even if you got your money out in the 'nick of time' it tanked along with everything else in value.
Will be interesting to see if/when these 'high APY' companies start to pop up again in the next crypto boom, how people will treat them by then given what's happened this time.

it was. he lost his arse. I like this board, have much respect for it, and am happy when all posters are successful in whatever avenue they choose to invest/trade in much like my buddy jag warrior has stated before.
we may joke and clown around some when somebody posts something stupid
but when the rubber meets the road i will defend this board. This board has been educational and helped many people. rocket was a douchebag who shite all over everybody here. good riddance. Yes, i hate to see anyone else lose anything on the crypto stuff. i agree.

pre-crypto and manosphere, Nola and BK loving rocket would talk about how he had some job that paid him 6-figures without much work and he felt bad for us living more normal lives in non-shithole cities

rocket31 was likely being cocky toward the board more to reassure himself than to convince us. He got in over his head and learned a lesson. If he’s reading this, pick yourself up and go get a real job if you haven’t already. Now is a great time to DCA into stocks and crypto. Come back and join us. We’ve all stepped in shite a time or two, it’s life.

It was just so obvious that this type of thing was going to happen that it’s hard for me to drum up sympathy for anyone who lost out. Just blatant greed without substance behind it.

Just to play devil's advocate, those are both signs that things are at the top and its probably time to take some winnings and diversify out.
