I didn't write it

But if the British economy doesn't completely collapse, Barclays should recover just fine

Regions can't get going, too much exposure to Oil and gas right now. I'd stay away from that and buy FSB or Pinnacle Financial Partners out of Nashville.

I bought BCS at $8.69 on Friday and am going to buy more tomorrow.

What about Bank of America. Seems to be taking the biggest hit amongst US banks.

The QQQ is getting beat up. Favorite fund, hard to see how some combination of google, amazon, facebook, apple, microsoft, starbucks, tesla, costco, and countless other young growth companies is bad to have in your portfolio.

Such companies usually have inflated P/E's due to perceived future growth and FOMO (fear of missing out). So when the boat starts to rock, these companies fall harder than typical. They may recover faster, too.

I'm still on the sidelines. I'm adding to my watch list here and there, but I'm still waiting. I'd like to see more all is lost/no hope posts, articles, etc. Can't guarantee that'll happen, but that's what I'm looking for.

Current Watchlist:
PATK, TNH, DE
RLI, SGU, ABR
ARRY, NVDA
JPM, DDS,
F, HCA,
CALM, TBPH,
BCS, SAFM,
CINR, BK,
KR, LL,
BRK.B, CRBP

Probably not an exhaustive list, but it's a strong start with a wide variety. I'll also use a stock screener and the Piotroski F-Score to find more and take some off the list.

Thinking about adding individual stocks to my Vanguard IRA. Would like thoughts on reasons to buy or not buy RBS or BCS. All my investments or in funds at this time.

I sure wish I'd gotten my BCS at that price

But nonetheless, Great Britain is not going to fall into the ocean and the EU, despite being very upset,(with good reason) will not refuse to do business with a country that represented a large portion of the EU's trading.

Yesterday and Monday I went fishing. Monday sold the $8 weekly puts on JCP. Just a little income I do every week or two. Tuesday I bought the IWM $112 July 15 calls, NFLX $92 July 15 calls and SPY $206 June 30 calls. (Losing money on SPY since I bought them Friday). Overall, good week.

I almost bought last week but could not pull the trigger. Still on my watch list but think there may be more downside. May wait till Friday for the jobs report and buy some then.
