Why am I losing money today? They said only the super wealthy would be affected.

All income should be taxed the same and taxed once. That would end a lot of the issues with taxes. Dividends taxed one way, Passive this way, Rental like this, W-2 like this, Capital gains like this....

How was this not already baked in? Is Wall st surprised? It's just an article not even a policy announcement or proposed legislation. Yellen's comments about mark-market for capital gains are much more concerning. That would be game changing.
