How do you catch shite like this on the front end before it happens? I’m guessing this is just another case of big swinging dicks with a lot of money moving the market in their favor.

Best bet is to already be holding whatever the next one is. Because otherwise you're going to a) jump into whatever you believe to be the next one and it's not, or b) you're going to jump in too late.

Any major platform (even many minor ones) will allow you to buy a call. Option buying only requires the minimum approval level.

Not me. I figured a few days ago this was not going to be another GME so I sold my calls for a nice profit and bought a few puts. I didn't go crazy but it'll be a nice way to end the week tomorrow.
