My Progressive policy for me and the wife is now at $330/month.

Nothing crazy about our coverage.
High deductibles
Road side assistance
Cheapest rental car option for her

Mine is less and I have National General. I pay about$205/mo for full coverage on two vehicles. They just went up on me this most recent renewal (July).

In case anyone didn’t know, insurance rates in Louisiana are stupid.

Yeah it’s ridiculous but surely I can beat the $4,000 a year I’m being gangbanged for.

I’m also with Progressive at just under $330/mo for wife and I. They were the lowest I found.

250/500 limits. UM. Comp and collision. No accidents.

Ive noticed quite a few insurance threads on TD lately from folks who, like me, recently got updated policy renewals.

My auto and homeowners both went up over 35-40% with zero claims, tickets, or accidents on either.

Also noticed several snarky remarks (not necessarily this thread) from those who have clearly not received a renewal in the past 4-5 months.

It is unsustainable. Baton Rouge area here.

I just looked at mine and it's about an 18% increase.

The biggest jump is in collision, which I assume is due to adjusting to the sharp increase in vehicle costs the past 2-3 years.

We have 4 cars and kids are 17 and 19. Progressive jumped to over $10k/year this year. We shopped around and got State Farm for under $8k. But now we have to ride with those stupid little beacons on the windshield to track driving habits.

Its ridiculous. Progressive policy renewed in May - 100/300/100 coverage on two newish vehicles and liability only on my sons late 90s truck. He has an at fault accident. $650 a month.

If available in your state and if you are a Costco member, Connect Insurance is almost certainly the least expensive option (and not just by a little bit).

I just entered all my information with Gabi and all 5 insurance companies were supposed to be "shopped" for me, and unfortunately 5 could not offer me a quote.

USAA will continue to be for me.
