Probably a top 3 reason people remain poor and can't accumulate wealth.
This.
Why don’t people actively save for their next vehicle purchase? People just live with car notes for a lifetime. It’s crazy.

Sure. You can sufficiently lengthen the loan term. You can sufficiently reduce the interest rate. You can sufficiently reduce the principal amount (come up with a high enough down payment). But at least one of those variables has to be addressed in order to get the payment down to $600/month.
There are no magic or trick answers to your question. Sorry.

If you can afford the $775, pay the note and get the new truck. If you can't afford it but still want a Tundra, find a used one and get it. Otherwise just drive the current one until the wheels fall off.

well all my multiple vehicles and house have been paid off for years plus other things but when buying a used car i make a fat down payment after negotiating a great deal to keep my notes super cheap. If i cannot make that DP i will not buy the car. simple.

Then you don’t NEED a new tundra. You can either afford it and don’t care or you can’t. Get a used tundra, just as reliable

Got Damn. That’s probably close to what that truck cost new in 2017.

If you can’t figure this out on your own something is off with you. You made you’re bed buying a 6 year old truck now lie in it

You probably have a better interest rate now than you’ll get on a new one. Keep driving it while you have the warranty and pay down the 34k.

You owe $34k on a 6 year old truck?
How bout you stop making bad decisions. I hope you don’t have kids.

Just pay to get the noise fixed. Problem solved and you saved 10s of thousands.

Actually you can’t. How much do you have in savings, retirement, what percentage of your salary are you contributing? How are you setting up your family, kids, etc?
My guess, considering you owe $34k, on a 6 year old truck and have a desire to upgrade is that you are a selfish piece of shite that can’t afford what he already has.
I hope the truth hurts.

Note is about $600/month.
Is there any way I can get a new black crew cab Tundra and keep the note around the same? Current truck has a warranty and started making a noise. I was told it’s not covered. I’m ready for a new truck. Never had one.
Great job great credit.
You made what I call a poor decision buying a 6 year old GM truck. Those things have lots of issues.
I suspect you will be upside down trying to trade it in on a Tundra, so your best bet would be to try to sell it private party and hope you can get close to your $34K, but you will probably be closer to $25K.
The cheapest Tundra you will find will be in the $45K range. I don't see how you keep your note under $600 after all of that.

This or parking it in New Orleans really seem like the best options. Double check your insurance before parking.

Looking up autotrader around me 2017 GMC Sierras, the absolute highest ones (with low mileage obviously) are selling in the upper $30k range, that's retail price. So if you trade-in, you'll be lucky probably to get around what you owe on it. If you sold it private party maybe you could get $35k-$38k range for it, which is what I would do, and that way you're not underwater at all.
I would then go out and buy a 10-ish year old Tacoma or Tundra. Bulletproof and it's something way cheaper. Drive it for 5-6 years and save up for your next truck.
You do not need to be getting into a brand new truck.

Can you elaborate on this noise?
A 2017 GMC SLT or above (I assume) with 62k miles is still a good truck. Not sure why you wouldn’t just drive it for 4 or 5 years at least.
