LSU’s academic standard comparatively with other SEC schools has actually dropped over the past few years regardless of increased ACT scores and enrollment numbers.
What’s more, F King has not been an effective fundraiser. Bottom line, he’s not qualified for the position and was hired to be a yes man for Bobby J and keep his mouth shut when the budget cuts came.

OP needs to change subject line to "I am delusional and know nothing about contracts."
If Joe were a commodity to the BOS, especially after a highly successful football season and uncanny basketball program going 9 and zilch in SEC road games -- along with what still is a promising baseball campaign (they will get hot in May) and a phenomenal gymnastics/softball turn, he would have been renewed by the 1st of March. Contracts aren't renewed the day they expire. Not even close. Wouldn't you renew someone who is "in charge" of such success, even with WW situation?
James the ambulance Chaser Williams wants his boy Verge and if not him, someone who fits the JBE and F King and Williams mold.

I will place a permanent ban bet on it. As long as programs are doing better and people are attending, he will remain. Football is the biggest cash cow and things are going just fine there. Alleva is here to stay, unfortunately. Also, so is F King, do you guys not understand that presidents of universities are not typically removed over trivial things like the head basketball coach MAYBE offering money to a player.
