I will place a permanent ban bet on it. As long as programs are doing better and people are attending, he will remain. Football is the biggest cash cow and things are going just fine there. Alleva is here to stay, unfortunately. Also, so is F King, do you guys not understand that presidents of universities are not typically removed over trivial things like the head basketball coach MAYBE offering money to a player.

Yep, and everyone is downvoting here because they’re mad there’s nothing that can be done about it.

Oh you’re right. WW situation is the only “trivial thing” that has happened during FKA’s tenure.

The fact he was hired in the first place was mind blowing enough...why can’t I crazily believe we could fire him?

The Will Wade issue is not the only scandal involving LSU right now. Pay attention.

In case you haven’t read this board in the past few weeks, many are acting like this will wade situation will somehow get FKA removed, which is beyond retarded.

Your not donating $50 a year to the school isn’t going to do a damn thing, I’m sorry.

But rolling over and accepting it like you is a better option?

Sit down and STFU.

lol if they fire WW that will be the THIRD basketball HC he has had to hire and fire, AD's don't make it through that. And if they keep WW then he's gone bc Wade is not gonna coexist with that incompetent clown. Either way Alleva is gone.

I agree with F King - athletics is not his primary issue, enough smoking guns recently though elsewhere that is his responsibility, seems there is a new story every week.

Alleva tenure has been long enough, in this day and age, change in AD leadership is not a bad thing.

You’re right. My $50 or $100 won’t do shite. But let’s say 1,000 people who donate that don’t. Let’s say 10,000 don’t. Hell, let’s say 50,000 don’t. That adds up and gets noticed

how can he be allowed to hire a 4th basketball coach (in 11 years) when two have been on the court failures and the other is in off the court hot water? how much rope is this guy gonna get?

He can easily point to not knowing shite about Wade’s off the record transactions, which he already seems to be prepping for with his recent comments. The school would easily rather get rid of Wade than Alleva. I don’t like it, but I believe it.

Do YOU realize they just launched the biggest capital campaign in the history of the university and it is going to fail miserably?? That's what gets people fired.

doesn't matter if he didn't know. he hired the guy. he brought the circus to town. it's his responsibility.

No. I'm downvoting because you actually think this basketball coach fiasco is the only blemish on FKing and JA's record and that is what we are basing our opinions on. You're dumb.

Then maybe he should focus on the university and stop sticking his nose in athletics and let the AD do his job like most university presidents. F King has been tumultuous for LSU athletics.

The university has been falling apart at the seams under his "leadership" as well so apparently he's not capable of that either.
