With huge upgrades on an already great front 7 (Shelvin,Fehoko). The defense dominates.

I see 8-4 with losses to Bama, UGA, Auburn, and some toss up. Coaching and offense cost us a couple games.

Worried about the QBs. No difference maker at RB, though CEH is promising. Defense dominates again.

8-4 is the floor, maybe 10-2 if the QB is good.

Y’all already heard mine. Anywhere from 6-6 to 8-4. Orgeron isn’t outcoaching these guys. His bowl management was putrid at the goal line. It is a huge win for the other team to force a FG at the 5 inch line.

Defense will be good. Offense will have growing pains, and the jury is very much still out on Steve Ensminger.

Losses to Miami, UGA, AU, MSST, Alabama are a forgone conclusion. UF is likely as well. Can’t wait to see what this new kicker can do though.

I think the defense will be special. Should be stronger on the front 7 and I think some of the linebackers make a big jump on their second year. Field goal kicking will be improved which is important in tight defensive games.

Big question mark is offense and how all the new skill position players can gel in a new system. I think we have plenty of talent on that side of the ball but a lot of it is raw. With possibly 2 5 star incomers at receiver this could be an interesting offense by mid season. If the light comes on for Brennan this team could be 10-2 which would be impressive with the schedule.

I said bold prediction. Not what you really think the season will turn out like. However, I do agree with you

Does it have to be bold?

I guess if so, maybe LA Tech steals a win in BR after LSU plays at Auburn.

I think the offense might look ok. It's going to be a lot more pass friendly if Ensminger stays true to form. And a full offensive staff collaboration to develop a scheme could catch a few teams like Miami that are early on the schedule completely off guard. However, I feel a pass happy offense will turn the ball over a few too many times and cost us the tougher defensive games.

And as for those tougher defensive games, Aranda will keep the defense humming and that defense should keep our losses respectable. I don't foresee another MSU type blowout loss.

All that said, I think 6-6 is the absolute bottom floor and 9-3 is the ceiling. I expect probably 8-4.

ETA: Bold prediction: Due to feeling the heat from the administration mid-October, Orgeron switches from Monster back to Red Bull.

D finishes top 10-15, they'll keep some games close but we'll get out coached by real head coaches. the rest of the year isn't anything special. We'll never be in contention to go to the playoffs we'll be playing in a mediocre bowl against a insert mediocre big 10 team and struggle to win. 4th in the SEC West.

You haven’t heard? He is the SOLUTION. Our air support in Fallujah. Ed Orgeron’s shining moment. The difference our program always needed(we would have beaten Troy).
