Early Doucet. Guy got shite on for a while and was a really solid piece for our 2007 run.

Probably not underrated but Landry. We had 3 guys on offence get more hype but he was dirty. The plays he made were unreal and I personally think he was better than OBJ in college and at the pro level.

Old favorite of mine, the original headhunter of an LSU Defense - Steve Rehage - made spearing a work of art.

Nikita Wilson--basketball (1986)
Dude was a warrior. Proof you didn't have to have all-world skills to be very good. He was solid defensively and rebounding, for 6'9. He wasn't particularly graceful, or loaded with moves. He really only had one shot; a little turnaround jumper. But like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and his skyhook, Nikita's jumper was both money and unstoppable.

To this day, it kills me that he had to take that shot against Indiana outside his normal range. It'd have been in, if he was a step closer.

Hard to pick just one so I'll toss out some that come to mind. Almost any OL from a good line will be forgotten sooner than most so starting with some of them:

OL: Mike Gambrell, Lance Smith, Ralph Norwood, Kevin Langford, Will Arnold, Josh Dworaczyk, Chris Faulk

WR: Herman Fontenot, Rogie Magee, Tony Moss, Todd Kinchen, Terrence Toliver

RB: Rondell Mealey, Hokie Gajan, Jeremy Hill, Stevan Ridley

TE: Mitch Andrews, Brian Kinchen ,Greg LaFleur

QB: David Woodley, Herb Tyler (first guy that came to mind for this thread), Jeff Wickersham

DL: Kenny Bordelon, Gabe Northern, Chuck Wylie, Tim Joiner, Drake Nevis

LB: Lawrence Williams, Darry Beckwith, Jon Street, Ron Sancho, Ryan Baker

DB: Craig Burns, Mike Williams, Kevin Guidry, Chris Williams

P/PK. Josh Jasper (never had another who could do it all as well as he did:
- 3 FGs vs Bama in '10
- Fake punt vs Bama in '10 (will put a smile on your face)
- Good pooch punter
- Played the bounce perfectly on the fake FG to keep the drive alive vs UF in the Swamp in '10

Charles Scott, Kelvin Sheppard, Josh Jasper and Mo Claiborne (wish his nfl career went better)

Baseball I’d say Raph Rhymes, haven’t heard that dudes name in years.

Honorable mention - Mo Isom

Joyce Walker this lady jersey should be retired. In the early 1980s, Joyce Walker a 5'8 Guard played at Louisiana State University on coach Sue Gunter's first Lady Tigers team, averaging nearly 25 points a game and leading the team in scoring and steals all four years. Walker still holds the all-time NCAA women's career record of 1259 field goals. She also still holds LSU career records of 2906 points, and 2238 attempts. A two-time All-American, Walker played on the 1983 World University games team, She was the leading scorer for the team, averaging almost 14 points per game, and helped the team win the gold medal.

I feel like Kristian Fulton was always overshadowed by Stingley and Greedy, but he was awesome

I'd go with Danny McCray and Jamie Howard were damn under appreciated by our fanbase. DM proved himself in the NFL and JH is only remembered for the Auburn debacle that should have been put on the OC.
