Forward progress was stopped too. Shouldn’t have been a fumble.

It was the start but, this was still total incompetence by everyone after that moment.

his momentum had stopped for one.

For two, Rattler being in sent the wrong message.

That message was delivered by Moore so it's on him.

It looked worse because Moore put Rattler in to try and protect his hurt QB and that's when it all started falling apart.

They were up by like 24. They had ample enough time to not let 1 fumble break them

He was playing soft coverage and couldn’t figure out that McCarthy was only throwing to Likely and Nabors and he couldn’t get a first down on offense and he dropped the balls thrown to Olave and had poor clock management?

Damn, I missed all that.

Not just the fumble. If either one of those two throws to Olave are caught the game doesn’t unfold the way it does. There were a lot of little things in that last 7ish mins could have changed the outcome.

If he has to protect Shough then Shough shouldn’t be playing. If he’s a 50% bc of broken left hand, he shouldn’t be playing either

Meh, 50% of Shough is still better than 100% of Rattler. I do get what you're saying though. I'm sure Shough wants to be out there. He's a true leader.

Also, I didn't dv you. Don't know why, but just thought I'd add that.

Chill out people. It's football. The Saints won on the road. It was a big win and could be the start of momentum. They won. They will learn and hopefully get better. It's rare to see the Saints up 24 in the 4th quarter so that was new territory for them. I'm thankful they pulled it off. The Saints were the better team today.

It takes someone who has no understanding of football to say that one player/play is the reason that a game is close. The irony to call everyone else morons on top of it.

Oh, my bad.

I was actually thinking what you're talking about early on in the game. Was thinking if he's so hurt that he can't effectively run the offense, then why have him out there. Then I started thinking that he probably wants to be out there and as I mentioned him hurt is better than Rattler. I just hope it doesn't get worse. Seems like playing with a broken hand would be problematic. Makes me respect him that much more.
