Not sure how you're using "developed."
JaMarcus was the #1 pick overall. It's hard to conclude he wasn't developed here.
Wickersham ('83-'85) and Herb Tyler ('96-'98 and some of '95) were both 3Y starters and solid QBs.
Hillman ('69) and Risher ('82) had solid senior seasons.
Ensminger and Woodley ('77-'79) were a solid tandem at QB.

Yes. This speaks to the Daniels had the second best year of any LSU QB faction as though that was an accomplishment of some note.

It is what it is. Maybe it’s a good thing he left but LSU needs a QB now.

If Walker Howard was the best QB on the team he would start. Fact is he's the third best right now with another very talented QB coming in and another coming in after that

What is this board's obsession with "having a competition?" Do you think that coaches can't look at 3 QBs in practice and know where they are as far as a hierarchy? Practice is the competition and WH was 3 out of 3.
Reps are a finite resource and if the coaches know who their best guy is then that guy should get the job. They don't need to have a competition to appease a few fans.
Maybe he just couldn't cut it at LSU.

Wickersham was really good not great.
It was “great”.
Jamarcus was good but not great. He was drafted in potential only and he had 3 first round pick receivers on that team.
