It’s not that big of a deal. Also the high that day is 87 and low is 62. It ain’t gonna be that hot… A 2:30 kick probably would’ve been hotter until like the 4th quarter.

Basically, calm down and embrace it, it’s still a home game vs a top team.

The crowds have been shite lately and it would've been nice to stop that trend but 11 am game instead of 7 pm guarantees we won't.

At this stage of my life, I appreciate an 11AM game.

This has nothing to do with LSU and it’s tradition of Saturday night games.

Ya, in the Midwest where the directional schools are awful and there's chores to do before dark.

Yeah, we had to compromise on that tradition when we started cashing $65 million checks every year. You prefer Tigervision, no recruiting budget, crappy facilities, and cheap arse coaching staffs filled with a bunch of 20 or 70 somethings you’ve never heard of?

Yeah. I also realize that people all over the world love to watch soccer.

That doesn't mean we want to.

T.S. crowds have been bad enuff lately, a morning kickoff will only reduce the crowd even more. And an old style T.S. crowd mite make a difference in this game. Suffice to say Tenn. is happy for an 11:a.m. crowd.

Brody Miller of The Athletic summed it up best:

Here's the misunderstanding. Baton Rouge is primarily all already drinking and tailgating by 6 or 7 a.m. The frustration comes from the fact it can only tailgate for a few hours compared to 12 hours

It's a morning game for us, but an afternoon game for UT since they are on Eastern Time. Explain to me how that's fair...Hahaha.

Georgia, #1 team in the nation, has already played two games in that early timeslot.

CBS is the genesis of our Oct 8 "problem." CBS decided preseason to feature the Bama-A&M game in primetime on Oct 8. So, ESPN gets second choice that Sat and they understandably chose LSU-Tenn. Since ESPN agreed NOT to put a marquee SEC game up against CBS on that one Sat night each season, ESPN is left with only the 12 noon EDT spot.

Big 12 plays 11 o'clock games.

Espn should have let up play on the SEC network nobody across the nation is getting up to watch that shite except LSU and Tennessee fans. That being said the uga 55-0 beat down will be great tv for CBS.
They did this shite to us when we played Vandy when we were #1 I don't want to hear bull shite at least that was an away game. We played early last season vs Mississippi state.

Lsu shouldn't have to give up a home game to 11 am if it's on the road you can't stop it, but all home games should be no earlier then 230p
