BK and Nuss have the same agent. I wonder if the agent is telling BK to play Nuss no matter what to protect his draft status.

If that is the case then they need to fire that agent asap. Because he is ruining Nuss’s future more by the week if so.

NIL has NOTHING to do with playing time.

Anyone who thinks a coach is playing someone due to an an NIL deal is too stupid for words.

You’ve said this a couple of times at least now.

Care to provide just the smallest bit of evidence to support it?

I dont even think its about Nuss's NIL. Its the whole idea of Nuss. The kid that stuck it out with the school he loves. Kelly really wants it to work for the kid. Hell we all do. He doesn't want to sit the kid that gave everything to LSU. It isn't a good look at all for Garrett if he does that.

Nuss just doesn't fit what LSU can do right now. There is no running game to offset his lack of mobility. Nuss can't hurt teams for dropping 8, and the line can't push three dudes in the run apparently.

If there is one thing I know, it is that the vast majority of people on this board have no idea what goes through Kelly's head, the mysterious big boosters, or any agreement that they made with Nuss to keep him here another year. I think it is more to do with Kelly's personality and coaching style. He values experience above all and doesn't like to play freshmen or anyone else who hasn't put in their dues with the team.

BK care about one thing only - the remaining 60 million that LSU still owes him. BK could continue his BS while losing 5 of the last 8 games this season.
And NOTHING LSU can do about it. Nothing.

Dropping 8 does not leave just three to defend the run. They drop them after the QB shows pass.

At this point, CBK is more worried about his own future than he is about Nuss's NIL. His survival depends on winning games and he would be smart to play whoever gives his team the best chance to win. And he's not dumb.

This bullshite again?

I’m not a BK guy but this myth has been proven false more times than we can count.

Perkins
Campbell
Jones
Taylor
Durham
Pickett

Etc…

All major contributors as freshmen and got play over more experienced guys.

This is true. What im saying is that Nuss cant hurt them by running after the offense shows pass and there are lanes to run. The second quote is me just dunking on the offfensive line.

People really just pull stuff out of thin air and claim it as fact. What has Kelly done or said to make you think this?

It matters. I don’t think it’s the only reason but it absolutely buys Nuss more time than say if it were pre NIL era.

If there ever was a rule of college football its don’t piss off the big money boosters, this is x100 in the NIL era.

Next time we need another 500k to outbid Michigan for a QB and the booster says why do you can bench him a month into the season.

He is saying all of this partly to put pressure on Nuss. It’s a coaching tactic and one I commend him for. Although MVB is also pretty good as well probably.
