It's a huge factor why we didnt convert one 3rd down and failed from the 1 yd line

Looking more like the pre-Brady offense especially on 3rd downs and red zone

Hated the two runs in that formation on first two downs. Throw should have been over the defender on third and Brennan should have thrown the ball sooner on 4th. Marshall broke open earlier and the throw a second earlier would have been a TD. Brennan rolled out and was looking at him the entire way. Not sure why he waited to throw. But yes Brady influence is largely gone from the formation standpoint.

I said that exact thing after the state game. No rub routes, zero threat to run, pop up then back on those short tosses to the WR in the end zone. Steve Ensminger can be given a Lamborghini and drive it like a pinto.

I still can’t decide what I’m more pissed about. The entire defense giving no effort and not knowing what their assignment is, or 0/10 on 3rd down and 0/4 from the 1 with the game on the line.

Unimaginative and very poor execution in pressure-down offensive situations. Similar to week 1.

At this point, this defense is worse than ‘08. The offense is obviously better than others we’ve had, but they haven’t shown the toughness to execute when they need to. It’s hard to watch.

41 pts. yesterday and you're crying for more misdirection and creativity. I'll cry with you for 1/2 a defense!

people cried about no zone reads and RPOs firt game then vandy we did them.

so we did not have enough counters and motion for you?? but we were told that was bad when canada did it! remember? rantards.

linehan is stretching the field just like brady did VERTICALLY AND HORIZONTALLY. can we tweak it more and add more as we go? yes. we sucked on third and long bcause we have dropsies or something breaks down, QB or line at times. you also need positve yards each play to stay out of the low conversion % of 3rd and longs. maybe we felt we could not run as well as we wanted? we have a huge big play offense wbut we do need to get better at short and intermediate routes for ball control and sustaining drives. it does seem boom or bust on many drives. we should be able to fix it.

If you watch the behind the scenes stuff & the attention to detail that comes with each play when it comes to Brady’s play calling, it’s night & day

On 3rd down/red zone it definitely is looking pre-Brady

No one is paying attention the offensive issue bc of the D

But offense will get mauled over the next few weeks. Crap teams are getting constant pressure.

SE fans are going to be upset when the offense gets shut down over the next few weeks.

No longer attacking the middle with combo routes, deep square ins, pick routes, bunch formations, slowly fazing out RPO.

Only attacking outside the hash or deep passing plays...sound familiar to 2018?

Ran a Fkn out route on last play! Lol

0-10 on 3rd vs Mizz
9-39 on 3rd for the year

The RBs had 12 rushing attempts before the last drive...16 total attempts on 68 plays...

Yet, some believe he really called 90% of plAys lol

You same people cried tears when Canada did it, then calls Malzahn a “gimmick” when he’s been doing it for decades. Y’all are out of your minds
