No he wasn’t and one of those situations was ruined by a false start and poor play call. Baker is the primary reason we lost the game by a wide margin.

He’s not been very good. Not seeing the field. Horrible decision maker when the initial read is not there.

I’m sure Lane and Charlie are working on him. But it’s not registering fully yet. He may need more time to pick it up. It needs to start clicking. I understand that’s not ideal, but it’s the reality.

Maybe it’ll click better for the other guys, I don’t know. But I do trust the coaches to make the right assessments.

QB is always going to get the blame when we lose, that’s just how it is. Leavitt wasn’t the reason we lost but he’s going to be blamed. I’ve seen QBs throw for 400 yards and 3-4 TDs get blamed for games where the D gives up 40 points so that’s just life as a QB.
You can’t be serious with this comment. What game were you watching? Nobody is asking Leavitt it to do anything out of the ordinary except just throw an easy pass to a wide open receiver. You are making excuses, it sounds like you don’t know football at all.

Left side of the O-line was hot garbage too.

As bad as it was, we win that game with better QB play.

Especially early on, we couldn’t block anything. But we got rolling at the eye of the half and through the rest of the game. Problem was our D put us in a 24-7 hole, gave up 7-8 on 3rd down conversions, allowed a 3rd and 19 conversion that led to a TD and gave up a score on a 75 yard drive in under 1:50 to end the 1st half. All to a team that had no run game at all.

LG was getting rag dolled by a prospective top 5 DT in 2027 draft. That's not fixable.

Just decent qb passing in that game is probably a W for LSU. He was that bad...not just the bad passes, but running for short gains when receivers are wide open. A good throwing QB wins that game for LSU imo
