Yet another take on Daniels/Nussmeier. (Hopefully a kinda unique one).

It's obvious that the coaches have decided that going with Daniels is the best option. Perhaps they think that he has the higher floor, while Nussmeier may have a higher ceiling, but perhaps a lower floor.

Here is where I differ from most: If they are going to go with Daniels, I think they should gear the offense to his strengths which are running and improvising. Everyone keeps saying he needs to try to improve his passing game by throwing into tighter windows, throwing downfield more, and throwing more and running less.

I disagree. The team needs to maximize what he does best - run. Put in a few more designed running plays for him. I'm not saying go to a full-blown option offense but utilize more option concepts. And quit trying to get him to go against his instincts by going through more progressions. If he thinks he needs to run to salvage a play, let him go with that feeling before it's too late.

I've even thought that they good experiment with putting both Nussmeier and Daniels in the backfield together once in a while. You'd have a strong passing and a strong running threat.

Bro he’s a 5th year QB and the season already began. The offense has tons of option reads and QB runs. He just gets them wrong a lot. He is what he is. They built the entire offense around him already

There IS NO original take on JD/Nuss. Everything has already been said a year ago.

Nussmier maximizes all the other talent on the field.

you know, as bizarre as it sounds, you may be right. he cannot run an rpo correctly. they have plays for him. he just can't run them efficiently. when is Kelly going to see it? Daniels is not the guy.

The jj dick riders told us for years that the fans didn’t see what the almighty coach saw in practice. Then when jj got hurt, Lee led LSU to a championship season. Still the dick riders said “Trust our genius miles, he’s such a good man”. Well, they were wrong on all counts, and now the same bunch is leading the same cycle. Forward pass Kelly, he’s such an honorable man.

Nussmier maximizes all the other talent on the field, walks on water, heals the sick, raises the dead, saves a burned roux, makes all the oysters salty, keeps crawfish prices low, and keeps hurricanes away.

Garrett Nussmeier: 4/6 (66.6%) - 48 yards average of 8 yards per attempt. 0 TDs

Jaden Daniels 18/24 (75%) - 269 yards average of 11.2 yards per attempt 5 TDs

I know which one is better

Agreed! JD is who he is. Stop trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Maximize his dangerous running ability.
Folks, he's not Joe, but nobody is!

BK prefers a running QB. The problem is the they don’t run enough designed runs for JD. He needs 15 to 20 runs a game for the offense to be effective. And he needs to make the right decisions in the zone read which he doesn’t always do.

Did you even watch the game? Did you see Sampson drop 2 perfectly thrown balls by Nuss, that would’ve gone for huge gains or TD’s? Meanwhile Daniels still struggles making certain throws, the running game is terrible with him in and he keeps touching his chest saying “my bad”. Yea we know it’s your bad so fix it.

Do you have any actual stats to back this up or are you just making this up? It's okay to want one QB over the other, but don't make shite up.

The stats you listed right there tell the story. JD LEAD scoring drivers for TDS every time they got the ball. What more do you want?
