Will these Mardi Gras jerseys help in some way the prospect of beating Tennessee?

No, but they might convince a few extra people to show up and buy concessions.

The only way the good times are rolling is when McMahon’s head does.

The state of the program stinks, and the future outlook (assuming the reports of McMahon returning are accurate) is dismal, but I'm not going to knock LSU for having a giveaway to entice students to show. Honestly, it's kind of a cool item that may one day look good in a game room/man cave if and when LSU basketball ever becomes exciting again.

I'm one of those guys who hate all uniform changes, especially in football, BUT I like these and they wouldn't suck as an actual game uniform for basketball.

now "we" are complaining about giveaways. The insufferable nature of some of you is astonishing

I know we suck, but even last year when we were 9-9 in the sec, the students are shockingly bad. 50 students and they’re all sitting down.

So true. The students say they want to be on the sideline. Well, first you need to show up to prove that you support the team

Would have been better if it said Le Bon Temps Roule.

Putting it in English makes it look like a Mardi Gras shirt you might get in Kentucky.

Why not its authentic French equivalent, "Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler." That's more fitting for Mardi Gras and Acadiana, it sounds better, and elevates is above the rut our program has festered in for three years.
"Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler" is not authentic Cajun. It's not even authentic French.

It's a calque from English to French. It's a wholly fabricated tourist marketing gimmick.

But, yeah, it works better on an LSU t-shirt.

Is that some sort of teal/turquoise on the numbers or is the normal green just not coming across well in photos?

Easy solution: give the free shite away after the game ends and as the fans are leaving. Make them get a coupon upon entrance, redeemable starting at the 8 minute mark of the 2nd half for those who want to leave early as we are getting blown out.

LOL you must be a Democrat.
