But if wade is smart, and we assume he is, he didnt leave a paper trail

He just left a trail of phone recordings.

Rookie mistake. Never talk to the bagman. That's why he has asst coaches, staff, boosters, etc. Wade will know better next time.

If you want it to look bad, it looks bad. Seems vague as hell to me. I could infer anything about the "offer"

If this were Alabama football literally all of you would be talking about them cheating and then being fricked.

Take the glasses off bruh, this looks bad. Really bad

If there is any violation and they pursue this, Calipari and all the ACC and the other conference blue blood coaches will lose their protection too.

LSU isn’t SMU, and this modern era of communication doesn’t allow you to only shine light where you want to.

Emmert should know he wants none of this unless he wishes to be known as the one who oversaw the destruction of NCAA basketball.

Anyone who actually believes there is nothing to see here is seriously naive. Nothing will happen with the FBI thing, but the NCAA will absolutely come knocking at LSU’s door, if they haven’t already. This isn’t good.

The first question is why was our new Coach beign wire tapped?

If we're going tap phone without FISA warrants, it's time to start buying guns...

And damn it, I want the tapes on Nick Saban's office...

I want every single text, email and phone call he's had the last 12 years landing the #1 class in America...

Until then....

these people can go fly and damn kite...

Why are we under the thumb of the FBI?

I am pissed...seeing Alabama players get eligible to play when they couldn't at LSU, the home state school and these Chargers...and jobs they hand out

If we're going to investigate, then you start with the Alpha dog in the conference who grabs the most talent every year...

And MOVE THE SEC OFFICE FROM ALABAMA, 75 YEARS IS ENOUGH!!!

“Tilted to the kid and Mom” = full scholarship and tickets to home games for mom
“Piece of the pie” for the middleman = access to practices and a commitment to send an LSU assistant to middleman’s next camp/showcase

All legal right?

Yep there's no way around it. For the rest of the year every national media person who talks LSU will bring this up. Every shite fan will call us cheaters, even though EVERY major school is paying players in some way. Can't believe Wade would speak so open about it.

Yes, but unless we see more hard evidence there really isn't anything here that's a violation yet... Sure violations are definitely implied, but the evidence would all be hearsay at this point

This situation pisses me off.

If Roy Williams is still coaching, this shouldn't be a big deal at all..

Look what it took for Rick Pitino to get fired.

You can't tell me Zion Williamson made the decision to go to Duke because he wanted to get a good 1 year's worth of education.

If anything comes of this and it only involves two or three schools I think that says something more about the NCAA than anything.

It will say they pick and choose who they want to go after.

There is no connection between this report and this situation, but remember when Darius Days picked LSU over UNC and Roy Williams wasn't too happy about it.

Although that happened after these recordings were recorded, I'd love to know if Williams put some bugs in a few people's ears.

This is total bullshite..

if the NCAA can overlook outrageous academic fraud at a supposed "Public Ivy" like North Carolina, I don't know how they can penalize LSU for this.

The NCAA can't govern shitty academic policies. They can only rule whether the policies were exclusively meant for athletes. UNC was smart because those classes were offered to all students not just athletes

Lots of people lost their jobs over it though.

Correct. It does look bad from a PR perspective. But unless there is proof that an actual violation took place, rather than talk of a potential violation, this will go nowhere.

He’s admitting making an offer. We all know what that means . Maybe he survives, maybe he’s done.
