He better hope no other team has a significant injury leading up to the playoffs.

"Florida State is 13-0 and champions of the ACC, but we don't think their QB play is up to par so therefore we're leaving them out".

It's completely asinine logic.

FSU should pull a 1969 LSU and turn down their bowl invitation. They’d have a lot better reason for doing so.

So now that they picked, injuries don’t matter? It is a BS reason.

It is part of the criteria that was set at the creation of the CFP committee. They didn't make the rules. They are playing by the rules.

Do you think FSU would beat Bama today if they played each other, even if they played in Tallahassee? I hate Bama, but I have to be fair and look for the 4 BEST teams right now

Alabama with 2 losses was still better than Oklahoma and Ohio State in 2019. Why didn’t they go then? Four best teams, right?

That last criteria was a taylor-made last minute excuse to keep FSU out.

Who would win tomorrow, Washington or Georgia? I think Georgia would win. Therefore, Georgia should be in over Washington.

Who would win tomorrow, Ohio State or Texas? I think Ohio State would win. Therefore, Ohio State should be in over Texas.

See how utterly illogical this is?

Moving those goalposts to suit their narrative as always. I don’t recall the last point being there before this committee.

If they KC chiefs are going to the Super Bowl and Patrick Mahomes breaks his leg 2 weeks before, they don’t take KC out of the Super Bowl. The whole thing is nefarious. You can’t make a decision based on what you THINK will be the result. This is a total overstep by the committee.

The NFL doesn't use a playoff committee

We had the BCS which was very objective and people hated it, so now we have the committee so we can have the subjective human element and people hate it.

The selection picks and chooses whatever criteria suits them and it changes every year.
