this freaking fanbase I swear. After a decade of Les Miles offensive football you would think people would actually appreciate greatness while it’s still there.

If Jayden wants to play I would love to see him one more time as a Tiger. If not, I’m happy with seeing Nuss after practicing as the starter.

Nuss. JD needs to kick back and prepare for the 1st round of the draft

I would love to see Daniels play one last time.

With that said, there is no benefit to him playing.
Nuss needs reps.
Risk of injury.

Nuss should start and play the whole game with Collins getting some reps.

I want to see our no-worse-than-Heisman-runner-up QB play as many times as I can. It's such a rare thing to have such an epic season, so I don't want to watch Nuss back there unless JD5 opts out.

Nuss getting experience as the starter on Jan 1 in an exhibition opt-out game will have little to no impact on his ability to perform against USC in Sept 2024.

I'd let Jayden make the decision. He's earned that much.

Nuss, I'm still real salty about the NCAA denying his eligibility two seasons ago. frick them for that.

Daniels will play one drive and they will break Malik's record then Nuss will play the rest of the game

Daniels, BT jr, and Naber's until Half and then let the new guys for next year go with the #1's.

This is an actual game, not spring training. You win it with your best. It may only be a one score game at half.

If Daniels practices and makes the trip, you have to start him just out of respect for what he's done for the program this year.

It would be cool to see him connect with Nabers to break the receiving record and then both come out together!

NUSS
JD5 gave us an exceptional year.
It is time for Nuss to be able to play to score with the 1st teamers.
JD5 can only get injured, with zero upside. He has nothing to prove.
Hope the Saints do whatever they have to do to get him.

Daniels shouldn’t play in a game like this. Sucks for us fans but that’s just the way it is. Hell, Nuss didn’t play because he wanted to preserve his redshirt. Compare that to a high first round pick.

Dude you would be a PERFECT employee within the Biden administration. You KNOW what’s best for adults and you make that very clear. I’m just glad there isn’t a Covid breakout because most of you yo-up’s would be saying “Jayden NEEDS to mask up!!! He’s risking his draft status by not doing that AND getting vaccinated. He didn’t need to mask up for Texas A&M because…he didn’t. But now that it’s a bowl game he’s GUARANTEED to get Covid or injured. I know what’s best for him”!!

I would love to see Daniels one more time, however I would not mind Nuss to get his first start and play a complete game.

Daniels is the starter and will start the bowl game. Nuss will get his reps in spring practice

According to know it all ranters, players who are not returning next year will be opting out for fear of career ending injuries.

…and/or death. I’ve never seen anything like it. The amount of “bowl game injury fear mongering” has reached epic proportions. They make it sound like he’ll be lucky to escape career ending injuries if he plays. And for all of you “I know what’s best for him” types…go work for the Biden administration. You’d fit right in.

If Daniels wants to play you have to let him. But I'd give Nuss the second half.
