I like Nuss, hope he plays great and we win. If you were transferring would that affect your choice? All I'm saying is those in the portal are trying to set themself up for the best chance to start. Some are already starters at their school. Best case would be we don't need a portal QB. But we could possibly get a qb before the bowl game and none of that would matter.

Daniels. Want him to break 4,000 passing on the season and 13,000 career passing yards. Needs 251 yards for 13k.

Daniels has nothing to gain but plenty to lose by playing. Risking injury right before draft is incomprehensible.

YES!!! It was a huge mistake last year for Alabama to play Young in the Sugar Bowl instead of Milroe. If only Milroe had gotten that valuable experience then maybe they would have won the SEC and made the playoffs this season

He broke 16,000 career total yards against A&M (now at 16,056), but another 215 yards would put him at 3rd in the all-time NCAA total offense record book. And he's at 4,946 yards of total offense on the year. Would like to see him hit the 5,000 mark.
Basically, I want Daniels to start, throw for 251+ in the 1st half and rest.
What's probably going to happen is him start, get Nabers the career receiving record and they both hang it up.
eta: On the other hand, if he sits then he secures the NCAA Single Season Passer Rating Record.

I want Daniels in the first half and Nuss in the second. I would like the entire first team to play with Nuss. It will give us a chance to evaluate him more fairly than seeing him with 2nd teamers. Then later in the game start sprinkling in 2nd teamers if the game is well in hand. I expect LSU to win, but I expect a tough game, not a route, so we may have to keep the first teamers in the game, and I wouldn’t rule out Daniels returning if Nuss is ineffective.

I will be pissed if we go out and lose to Wisconsin no matter who plays QB. I am not going to lose my shite if it doesn't happen, but I want Daniels to play because he gives us the best chance to win the football game.
As for experience, Nuss will be going into his 4th season next year and 3rd under Denbrock. He has thrown 175 passes for 8 touchdowns in his college career. It is not like he is popping his cherry against Wisconsin.
