Dave Aranda back as DC

Ed O as D Line coach

Corey Raymond back as DB coach

I know, this is never going to happen, I’m just curious what the consensus would be on having these coaches back at LSU.

Personally, I would be fine with it. Are there better candidates out there? Sure, but all of these coaches are proven in those roles.

I would gladly accept back Dave as DC and Ed as D-line coach. As for Raymond he is past his prime, Chevis Jackson is who I want as DB coach.

Raymond would not be my first choice either but he at least gave us serviceable DBs even later in his time here. I mean, it’s got to be better than what we have at the moment.

Ed O as D Line coach

You must be kidding if you think Kelley is letting Ed anywhere close to the LSU program. Plus the guy mailed it in and put LSU in a dumpster fire for $17M.

Please keep Ed O as far as away as possible from our program for Christ's sake. I am shuddering that you would even mention that.

I know it’s never going to happen. I’m just wondering what the current opinions are of these former coaches as it pertains to their best coaching positions

Yeah, he fricked up.

This is a hypothetical based off his ability as that position coach. He was a good D line coach and a damn good recruiter prior to his final two years as the head coach

I get what you’re saying but there is no way BK wants Ed Os antics anywhere near his team.

This is just retarded. The only viable person you mentioned is Aranda l. Do you truly feel like BK would hire Ed O??? When you reread this post do you understand how ignorant what you are proposing? And Corey is one notch above Shrimp Boat Captain.

Love how a bunch of guys that punch a clock relentlessly shite on a guy that put together the best year in the history of his particular field

And Bo Pelini was a damn good defensive coordinator, too.

I think it's time to move on; I want new blood that's good, not rehashed stuff.

We got a real problem with that here. If it ain't an old coach we want back, it's a former player turned coach (some with merit, some not).

And then followed it up with the worst 2 years this side of 2000 back to back and publicly stated this past offseason that he's happy to be done with the grind of coaching.

Once O felt like he had nothing more to prove he mailed it in hard, and basically admitted as much. We can be appreciative of what 2019 was but at the same time recognize he shouldn't be near the program anymore in 2023 and beyond.

And honestly same goes to Raymond. Florida fans aren't very happy with him right now in case you haven't been paying attention.
