I would have a better record than McMahon and I have not seen a basketball game in 20 years.

By the end of the year, it looked like anyone who could simply keep team morale high could outperform the HC.

No, KM isn’t a good coach, great recruiter/motivator, though

She was an all American point guard and has won 4 nattys as a coach all over the last 40 years or so. I'm guessing she picked up some knowledge along the way

if McMahon had similar money relative to the other teams he would have had better players.

mulkey loses a huge amount of money for the university

No because she wouldn’t have any players. No self-respecting player is getting coached by a woman at that level.
We literally had to make an announcement about how much more we're going to pay men to come play for McMahon.

I'm not saying Mulkey would be a great men's coach but I think she could be average to slightly below average.

McMahon is pacing to be one of the worst basketball coaches in lsu history, if it the worst.

I think folks need to realize how much worse he is than Trent Johnson or Johnny Jones.

Isn't he 14-44 in the SEC?

This has nothing to do with McMahon. It has to do with a woman coaching in men's college basketball.

People are letting their hate for McMahon and their love for Mulkey, both legitimate, cloud their judgement.

No woman is having any success coaching major college basketball. It's ridiculous to even consider. (I am talking building and running a program, not taking over and coaching an already built team on an interim basis)

Of course she would have...she would have at least been 9-9 in the SEC with all the talent we have.

Now WW, I'm being serious, would have likely won the SEC, even with the talent we currently have. He is that damn good.

I only had three less SEC wins than MaMahon had this season!

Highly unlikely for a number of reasons:

1. The womens game is very different from the mens, she has no experience coaching the mens game

2. You're managing much different personalities in general, larger personalities from an NIL/I wanna play pro/my career depends on this etc point of

3. The obvious elephant in the room of what kind of players could she get to play for her when she has zero experience coaching mens BB and as a female, a lot of guys simply wouldnt want to play for her (just the truth)

Camden; don’t you think recruiting and motivating is a least 80% of the job? A good assistant can handle X’s and O’s.
