I had to work a marine collision in Minneapolis during a blizzard, that did not prepare me for the west side upper deck during this game.

The McNeese game that got canceled a few years ago.

Miami 1988 is the winner, but that Indy Bowl vs Saban was the coldest game I have ever been to.

Fresno State and nothing else is close. That was insane weather. If you remember the game was delayed for several hours.

Agreed - Miami was the worst - parking lots were flooded, the filed was a mess, and the killed us!

When Miami kicked our butt - 1988 maybe? Rain - Rain - Rain.
I was in my junior year at LSU. Been going to games as long as I can remember. The rain was the worst I have seen. Stayed through the end.

Miami 1988. What do I win for sitting through that shite show?
Hey, we got to see more than $30k worth of fireworks shot for a field goal in the fourth quarter. So we had that going for us.
That game SUCKED! Cold rain the entire freaking time.

All I won that night was the payment on my Tiger Band stipend. Even the Miami fans who came to the game left before it was over, but Tiger Band stayed the whole night.

Thanks. I would never have thought of that.

if there was ever a game that would have been dramatically different on a dry field...

Miami in 1988. We sat in the South End Zone and a flagpole fell down from behind us and hit my dad in the head. We were a few rows from the top of the South End Zone.

vs Bama in '79...cold, windy and rained the entire game.

Miami in 1988. Steve Walsh and the Canes wrecked LSU 44-3 in hurricane-like conditions.

I'm with you on that. That is also one of my favorite game experiences. The whole student section stayed and sang rain drops keep falling on my head.
Then i found a soggy hamburger patty in my pocket (must have stuck it there while tailgating) and ate it. This chick just about puked watching that unfold.

1988 Miami game - drunk, shirtless and wearing a soaking wet foam LSU helmet with 7 of my closest drunk friends. Don't remember much of the game but do remember the rain. I've always been a hardcore fan but this was while I was in grad school. No self discipline!

but that oregon state game in 2004
First one that comes to mind. It rained so hard at one point that I could barely see the east side of the field.

Knoxville in 2017. Could not see anything at the beginning of the second half

I think this was 91 or 92 because I was there and didn't start LSU until 1991. It's really the only storm I remember sitting through in Tiger Stadium, other than McNeese in 2015 that was cancelled due to weather. I was in the stadium club so it didn't matter.
