Our defense can definitely be run on. Aranda has done an excellent job of adjusting for that thus far.

But. He's doing it with mirrors.

The good news is, perhaps or offense can finally be the type of offense who can help us overcome that.

I don't think the defense will be "exposed". After the first half of Southern Miss, Bebe will have them ready.

Chad Kelly's brother will return the favor for him when he sees our D beating his arse.

Hell, son, THEY need to be worried that we're gonna expose their defense this weekend. We may do to them worse than what we did to Missouri.

Remember, they have a TERRIBLE, virtually non-existent rush defense. Kelly may be lucky to get the ball for 10 minutes the entire game.

We need to keep contain and maintain tackles on first contact.

I know where you're coming from, but I'm starting to see it. They are coming around nicely.

Giving up points to Ole Miss will not expose LSU's defense. Unless you think Bama's defense sucks.

LSU can't get off to another slow start, that's for certain. They aren't scoring 28 unanswered points vs a decent SEC team.

So Ole Miss exposed Alabama's defense as being weak. Got it.

I'm not saying our defense is weak by any means. I just don't think that they're as dominant as their stats seem to show. I think the defense is good, not great, and I think that Ole Miss is going to go up and down the field on our "great" defense. Whether our offense can keep up will be the question.

PS - Please don't use the Missouri game as proof LSU can stop a good offense. Mizzou totaled 11, 7, and 14 points against teams with a pulse this year.

Not true. They are ranked 95 in rushing offense as a team. Better at passing though.

You are either trolling, or you are truly ignorant. Of course OM will move the ball, didnt they put up 40 plus on Alabama? LSU has several first and second rounders playing defense and has a very good defense. Your argument that they aren't good because they have played weak teams is a joke. It sounds like an argument a high school kid would make.
