Do you think we are tougher than Alabama fans? Florida fans? Georgia fans? Really?

Bottom line- lots of mistakes that are correctable that would have changed the outcome is the feeling from Ops.

So it wasn’t my scheme that was bad, the players just didn’t execute?

It’s crazy how many different WRs we used. Last year we basically ran with the big 3 unless someone was hurt or really needed a breather

Last year doing this along with CEH allowed us to grind teams into the dirt because it stopped substitutions.

I can’t remember if we subbed a lot or not, but you’re right, we had a ton of different skill players in the field, but very little diversity in formations.

Get out of here with this. This is LSU. 7-8 wins this year is what we should expect.

10+ wins in a normal year and competing for the SEC and Playoffs.

It was clear that the coaches and players spent too much time partying and protesting instead of preparing and practicing.

Did the film room look at three decades of Leech’s offense and the five core plays he runs?

Asking for a friend.

Ah yes, the old “correctable mistakes” are back.

This is a personnel issue imo. Our defense looks slow, especially the corners. The oline has an ivy league transfer starting. I don’t see a game breaker at rb.

some teams will abandon their run game, if:
A)- they're way behind, or
B)- you allow them to throw for 623 YARDS.

You think Bama, Clemson or Ohio State would say this. Even with all the attrition? NO. They demand excellence from

Bama and Georgia didn't humiliate Mo and Arky, the two weakest preseason teams in the League.

Covid absolutely took away valuable QB/WR time to gel. That time is critical to being in sync.

Miss State seems to avoided the consequences of Covid.
Their QB/ WR combination seems to have gelled just fine.
Stop making excuses.
Brennan was unable to find and timely throw to open receivers. And we dropped 3-4 we should have caught.

What’s your perspective on having a seasoned 3-year starting QB in place?

And, understand Pelini’s green DBs combined with Stingley being out had something to do with making State look good.

You read entitled....

The #2 team in rushing defense has more than twice the number of attempts against them. This is what happens when you don't have to run the ball.

16 attempts and this is what you're hanging your hat on?

Todd Harris could have shoved K Hill out of bounds and prevented long TD.

In a sea of defensive putridity, that one stands out.

WR's misread several coverages which would have possibly resulted in big gains.

I think the WR play isn't getting enough attention. It was absolutely terrible. Beyond the drops which are obvious, there were countless times you had receivers occupying the same area of the field and they did an awful job of trying to find open space when MB was scrambling.

I'll chalk it up to inexperience bit I get the feeling that Joe Brady's biggest impact may have been coaching up this group.

The drop off in ability from Stingley to the next man up is alarming.
