Unsurprising. What else is he supposed to do after Landry, on his own initiative, told the world the AD wouldn't be hiring the football coach?
I think it's good for LSU that both Kelly and Woodward are out. I think it's bad for LSU that the governor is meddling publicly to the degree that he is. We will see if the good outweighs the bad in the end.

From someone who would know, during the day Thursday Woodward was given the option from Landry to resign or be fired.
