Yeah genius, fire the AD that has hired all these national champion head coaches bc he let go a coach that got caught breaking the then rules set forth. It was a no win situation that was a PC nightmare involving the feds.
GTF over it already. I can assure you that a change will be made when Woody is ready to but that most def won’t be on the same timeline that you or any other mouth breathing, emotional twats will agree with.

The AD at LSU is responsible for running a billion dollar department it’s not just simply hiring and firing coaches. He has a proven record at being and good administrator that’s why he was hired and he will not be fired because the MBB program is struggling. You can criticize his hire of McMahon and any future hires. But you need to face the reality that Wade was careless and stupid, that’s why he was fired.

The basis for that opinion is but for the fans' and, more importantly, donor's affinity for Wade, Alleva doesn't get fired in April of 2019 after he was mercilessly booed/criticized for suspending Wade at the end of the 2019 regular season. If Alleva doesn't get fired that spring, there is no opening for the AD job. The suspension of Wade was the event (or at least final event) that triggered the firing of Alleva...which created an opening for AD

When I attended LSU in the late '80s basketball was very popular. Me and my friends would camp out the athletic department 3 days prior to student tickets going on sale. We would do 2-4 hour shifts to save our place in line.
Has baseball at LSU ever been that popular where students are camping out days prior for tickets?
Now when LSU is nominally competitive in basketball, compared to a good LSU baseball team who is getting more views on TV? In 2019 (the last time LSU basketball was decent and before COVID) LSU basketball was getting 500,000 to 1.5 million viewers on the SEC Network.
