For all of Wades faults, he had 5* talent lining up to play here. This is getting ugly and no class coming in to point at and say next year will be better.

He was the first coming of exactly what this program needs..... Since John Brady.
Did you see what I saw today? During Wade's entire tenure, go find me a game where they were being obliterated by 40 at half. I'll save you the search and go ahead and tell you you won't find it. You won't find anything close or that could even resemble it.
That said, I'm not going to judge McMahon on this season. But with the transfer portal in a full year under his belt, I'm going to need to see something that was a competitive basketball team next season in SEC play.
All these big money hot shots better start throwing some money towards some basketball talent.... Or what you saw today is what you're going to see

I am afraid that the only decent basketball played by an LSU team is by the women. It may be that in a couple of weeks actual attendance at women's games will exceed the men.

Let’s not forget that General Will Wade led us to the 9-9 conference record and the amazing 5 way tie for 5th place in the SEC last year.
He did good things here, but the godlike status he gets now is absurd. There is not a school in the country that would have kept a Will Wade level coach after all that came out. You have to be Bill Self or Roy Williams to keep your job.

The bama 105- lsu 75 game at the PMAC was equally embarrassing. SEC record 3 pointers for bama that night. 60-32 at halftime. It was 23-4 at one point.

John Wooden was CHEATER also.
Google Wooden and Dr Gilbert.
I think Wade had a better early career than Wooden. Wooden was at UCLA fifteen years before he won his first championship.
I suppose he hadn't met Dr Gilbert.

The administration cares about what the boosters care about. You think Tate and Woodward don't like basketball? You think they don't want the basketball team to be great?
Here's a factoid...... A successful basketball program rakes and money. A successful baseball program does not. They support the baseball team don't they? To say the administration doesn't care about basketball is absolutely silly. The decision to get rid of Wade was political. Louisiana politics ruin everything. Don't say stupid things
