Hey, calm down there. Nothing good about womens basketball is to be said on the rant. It's a money drain, only 2 fans show up a game, and what channel is ever going to show a girls basketball game?

It is hard to watch when they can't even make layups.

That a&m/Stanford game was a great game on espn. I think that a&m team plays better d than our men's team.

Why do people post on sports threads when it's a sport they're apathetic towards? Can't say I've ever gone to the more sports board or soccer board to bitche and cry about hockey or soccer.....but seriously, who gives a shite about soccer?

The UK-UConn game got good rating and those bozos were missing layups left and right.

Disclaimer: I'm not defending women's basketball. I hate the mens and women's games equally.

Hey Nerdguy...

Cox, FoxSports, and ESPN all carry games, pay attention---not a week goes by that there aren't several women's games if you just look!

...Have yall been to any LSU men's games. I'm a season ticket holder.

Our men couldn't make layups either.

that's an epidemic in college basketball .. period .. fundamentals are going by the wayside .. players can't make lay ups, don't use the glass anymore and just can't shoot in general the way they used to ... your typical games are in the 50s and 60s with shot clocks and a fricking three point shot today .. in the 1970s and 1980s .. games were in the 70s and 80s without a three point shot or a shot clock at all ... virtually everyone on the floor could make a lay up or shot .. especially when wide open with a clean look at the basket ..
