With Burrow, what toss up games do you consider definite wins now?

For me its:

Miss State
Florida
A&M
Miami

Think we take one out of UGA and Bama.

10-2 is very possible

.....with our coaching staff nothing is a given even if we had a mid-20s Joe Montana.

"No change"....

Bringing in a potentially elite QB will have no change...

Make no mistake, expectations have justifiably gone up. That's why you've seen certain posters disappear. There are only two games on the schedule where we could unanimously be considered underdogs and both of those are in Tiger Stadium. It's a great day for Tiger fans. No more excuses. Win or move on. Time to recommit to a championship standard.

Never understood why Florida and A&M are considered “toss ups.” They’ve got new coaches but they’ll be trotting out mostly the same players. Both teams are seriously flawed. LSU should be favored and beat both of them easily.

There is no change, we honestly (it is true, so do not be offended) know how well our QB will be assuming we go with Burrow, our how well our offensive play calling will be. We have a solid team, and I hope it all clicks and we have a remarkable season but there are too many what ifs.

Toss Ups (I think LSU takes 2/3 or 3/3)
Miami
Texas A&M
Florida

Probable Loss (I think LSU goes 0/3 or 1/3
UGA
Bama
Auburn

I think the basement is 8-4 and the ceiling is 10-2. This is as realistic as possible for me.

I think Troy last year proved with 0, there are no definite wins.

The team has had potential. So, no change. it's still hope and pray.

Southeastern is the only definite win in my mind. Have we forgotten last year already?

IMO, you cannot consider anything a definite based on potential. Maybe that's just my way of thinking, but I go by what I can see and by what has happened before.

I certainly hope the kid wins the Heisman and the team goes 15-0. The fact of the matter is that we just haven't seen anything to suggest that is going to happen yet. As I've said before though, the potential is there and the team has at least top 10 talent, if not top 5.

Can’t wait until next year because this talking point is sooooo old and played out.
Wonder how many Tiger fans will have “Life was good and then we lost to Troy” on their tombstone.

Troy was last year. It’s time to move on.

any idiot going into that game considering it a definite win is a dumbass. Troy was proven "good" before we played them. Then, they went on to win their conference and the New Orleans bowl bigly.

Since we're on the subject, LSU should hire their coach after this season

Why would anyone change because LSU got a backup QB? You really believe he is that much better than what LSU already had? So you have no faith in the QB's on the roster?

I am not an Orgeron fan at all. Didn't want him. Still don't.

That said, none of my distaste for him is based on Troy. Games like that happen from time to time. They shouldn't but they do.

Argue against him, but come up with something better than Troy.

Some are still around and we always be around. Roadkill is roadkill, trash is trash. 9-10 wins are possible. We need a lot of luck to get to 11-1 with schedule. But then again, how about if some teams on our schedule end up being weaker than we thought or take on enormous amount of injuries?
