I rarely say this but just stop. Coach O is fine with Steve so we should be too. We just won it all so I think they know what they're doing.

But I think it's abundantly obvious at this point that the loss of Brady is significant, and if LSU refuses to go out and find someone that can break down defenses in real time and adjust like this, then we'll be reverting right back to where we were prior to this season.
Maybe a few of these will help you feel more comfortable, if not I hear Tulane could use some more fans.

Joe Brady was masterful at dialing up the play. Joe Burrow was masterful at execution or, if he read something different, making the audible.
That combo is very rare. Sean Payton and Brees have it. Take Brees away and Payton is less of a coach.
We've lost the 2 biggest factors that accounted for our production on offense this season.
Hopefully Brennan and Emsminger can establish that sort of connection next year but it's pretty unlikely.

He told Brady to "figure out what they hell they are doing". This, to me, is a glaring insight into the how the offensive really operate this season.
Wow, you are a dumb shite. If you wanted to know how the offense operated, why not listen to Steve Ensminger TELL you how it operates. In an interview before the Clemson game he said that when Burrow comes off the field Brady debriefs him to figure out what was happening in the LAST offensive series while Ensminger prepares for the NEXT offensive series. This is how Ensminger divided the responsibilities. So, of course Brady and Burrow were trying to figure out what was happening, while Ensminger was planning the next offensive series.

Not seeing why the OP's getting all the downvotes. He's mostly quoting E. Those aren't the kind of things the "best" coordinator says.
I dont think Ed wants to retreat one step. He knows where E is capability wise.
I don't think E will be flying solo in the booth.

With Brady gone, I really don't feel confident with Ensminger at OC.
Then seek mental help.

Yeah If we don’t go out and hire someone like Brady and just let Ensminger be the guy by himself that is how you slip back to 3/4 loss misery
I mean this is the same OC people lost their minds over getting the job and scored a total of zero points in two tries vs Bama

Everybody forgets we started spreading it out and turning burrow loose last 3-4 games of last year after the Bama game where we lost 29-0 coach
What does this look like to you?
Burrow had 35 pass attempts this game, btw.

that no one else is needed to run this offense.
LSU will hire a new Passing Game Coordinator and that Passing Game Coordinator will more or less be the assistant Offensive Coordinator just like at virtually all other schools.

so basically Ensminger had nothing to do with the offensive strategy or in game adjustments and he was simply reading plays off the play sheet in a general pattern of how they wanted to run them
got it, thats pretty much what most people with a brain figured was going on this year yet the idiots are raining down votes on you for saying the truth and speaking the obvious
ensminger needs to go back to being TE coach where he fits better, he is way way over his head trying to be an OC

Another thing. Last year at this time we had Ensminger at OC and no Brady. And Ensminger delivered the greatest offense in the history of offense. He’ll go get whomever he needs.

Ignore the downvotes it’s a valid concern. The history of Ensminger under O has been mixed but the elephant in the room is his unprecedented failures vs Bama. The first version under O in 2016 was promising, with Cams system in place he used it really well most games breaking an SEC total offense record vs Missouri in his first game. We were explosive in the run game and Danny Etlings passer rating jumped 24points from the 125 to 149 range. He was creative with the WRs using Jet Sweeps for Chark increasing Dupre’s production and utilizing Travin Durals previously ignored run after catch ability in the slot. But he also called an awful game vs Bama with the Defense providing opportunity after opportunity, including a first play INT that gave us the ball on the Bama 30 where he produced nothing. His second time around 2 years back was worse. This time though it wasn’t really on him. He was given a matter of 6-8 months to construct and implement a brand new offense that was conceived in Os fantasy. Then he didn’t get his QB until weeks before the season started. Still he was much to deliberate, confused and in kindve a make it up as you go mode. He also called another stinker vs Bama which looked like he’d learned nothing from the previous two seasons. I love Ensminger personally, he’s as true blue as they come and will do anything for LSU, the question is does he have a good enough grasp of what Brady was doing to beat the best. That’s the one hurdle he’s never come close to crossing.
