Ensminger's coaching experience can't be taught and we don't win the NC without him. But, as far as the design and the concepts that just wasn't him and that's the concern going forward. I don't see why anyone would think that's unreasonable.

Bet you never heard the name Munoz until yesterday? If not when did you first hear his name and how was it brought up?

You caught me. First heard his name yesterday. Heard some backup from OSU is transferring here too. No way he’s gonna beat out McMillan.

Lol ,ok . Whatever . Only saying most didn’t even know who he was until on guy on this site mentioned his name. That’s all nothing more . Sorry you started your period , make sure you take care of that.

I am more concerned about who will be new DC. But that’s me.

We didn’t lose 5 olineman

I stand corrected. It was 4 offensive linemen. I forgot Brumfield came back last year. Still lost 8 starters from 2017-2018.

and that’s not what I said

What? That’s exactly what you said. You said:
quote:

There’s not a single data point anyone can reference that doesn’t 100% show Brady was the driver of this offense

I said:
quote:

There’s not one that indicates it’s possible without 9 returning starters on offense either.

And you said:

Again that’s only speculation and excuse making.

I really don’t get why it’s controversial to say that experience and overall team talent were huge factors for our offensive success this year.

Nah. That wasn’t all nothing more. You’re trying to call me out like I know jack shite about this staff and just started being a fan this morning. The people that are worried about Munoz not being retained have damn good reason to worry. Jorge had a big hand in Joe’s development and would be a vital piece in keeping this machine humming along.

I’m concerned as frick about both but I think we’ll be just fine. I think people here mistake a criticism as a personal dig against a coach and that’s how some of the thread killing arguments happen instead of just having an intelligent discussion about it.

Ensminger is very humble.

He had his hands full with play calling and keeping the opposing DC off guard. When he asked Brady to figure out what they’re doing, that’s something all OCs do. They’re not alone up there in the box. There’s always a bunch of guys with binoculars trying to find out tendencies and coverage schemes. The job of running an offense from the coaches’ perspective is not a one man thing.
Agreed. That's why they call it a team. It's a team of players and a team of coaches.

OP completely missed the point, IMO. One guy can't do it all. How amazing is it that this offense punched and counterpunched strategically and almost never had a delay of game, and when needed were mercilessly uptempo? That required a team approach.

I'm not saying Brady won't be missed. I am saying that Ensminger's narrative describes an effective team, not a deficient leader.

Although humility is a usually a good trait, I think Ensminger takes it a little far. He'd do himself a favor by not constantly saying how much smarter everyone else around him is.

Seeing as how Joe, ensminger and all the wr were here in 2018, your concern is valid.

That sounds like a guy willing to learn from someone better than him.
