LSU isn't hosting, even if they win the tournament. Jay is already preparing mentally for the regional.

It's all about having fun and preparing arms. Perfect game to get some guys some good pitching experience. Without a doubt you will see people on this board who don't understand that bitching within 15 minutes or the start of the game about Jay.

It's good practice for situations we might run into in the tourney. Plus nobody wants to lose, right?

I think every win builds this team’s confidence. We won’t face teams this good in the regionals/supers.

I hope they win the tournament, but they've got bigger things to think about now.

They can certainly beat Carolina again, but that's another hot and confident team.

IMO, just pitch whoever we have left who has not pitched in Hoover so far. Winning anymore games in Hoover does not mean much now. But I know the guys want to win every game they play.

So who is left? Dutton, Herring for a few, Hellmers? Guidry and Ack maybe for a couple. Who am I missing other than Pearson and Braswell haha

You have to stretch your arms in Omaha, too. This is good preparation.

Here’s your 9 innings for tomorrow:
Sam Dutton - 2 Innings
Javen Coleman - 2 Innings
Kade Anderson - 2 Innings
Will Hellmers - 1 Inning
Aiden Moffett - 1 Inning
Jam Cohnson - 0.2 Inning
DJ Primeaux - 0.1 Inning

If we make it to Sunday, gotta try and win it:

Nate Ackenhausen - 2 Innings
Griffin Herring - 3 Innings
Gavin Guidry - 2 Innings
Christian Little - 1 Inning
Justin Loer - 1 Inning

If we go into extras, I’m not sure what you do. Not sure if these guys are even healthy and/or on the travel roster:
- Micah Bucknam
- Jaden Noot
- Nic Bronzini
- Kade Woods

It's the perfect time to give the ball to Kade and see what he's got.

Moffitt, Johnson, Primeaux afterwards

Does this mean Tommy White is the starting pitcher tomorrow?

I think I'd start Kade Anderson tomorrow. Play the long game. He needs this experience, and let him have a full pre-game prep for it.

Dutton and/or Hellmers could come in early and extend if it goes poorly.

All leverage bullpen arms (Herring, Ulloa, Little, Guidry, Loer) could have spot work.

Not sure who all is active. Primeaux? Moffet? Bucknam? Cam? Noot? Javen? Javen hasn't pitched in almost a month.

Nobody mention Jake Brown, he’s only one year removed from pitching pretty decent in HS.

Unless he's still been throwing bullpens, and I don't think he has, he'll be a very last resort on the mound this year. I'd expect him to get back to the mound this summer or early fall.

He also just took a big step in earning the starting CF spot.

I sure hope we continue to see him in CF. I think if he didn’t pull that hammy earlier this season, he’d been there a long time ago.

Does anyone know why? I had high hopes for him this year, but it sure hasn't worked out that way.
