I have been pleasantly surprised

Particularly when some reporter asked if he planned on removing more statues or renaming more buildings he basically said “no, thats dumb and accomplishes nothing.”

Before this turns into a CRT shitposting thread, just want to say as an LSU grad who now only gives a shite about LSU in terms of athletics, he's done a good job.

I honestly have no idea, nor really care to know, how he is handling things outside of athletics.

Not gunna lie I’m actually happy so far except with the Dale Brown back door bullshite but other than that he’s been mad decent

If it is not any worse than it was before he took over (and I am not convinced it has), it is only marginally and the driver behind that is not LSU but Baton Rouge politics and policing.

I too had concerns he was going to bring that left wing CRT trash here but I give credit where credit is due and he has done a good job so far.

And this is why LSU has the smallest academic endowment in the SEC, and why it is the ONLY university (probably in the universe) where the athletic endowment is greater than the academic endowment.

If the academic endowment was large enough, LSU wouldn't even need any state funding.
