Could he have been more refined in his approach? Sure. But at least we got his best shot and he was smart enough to know that you need talent to win games. Don’t kid yourself. The other big programs were doing exactly what Wade was doing. Wade just made grave mistakes along the way.
Our current coach does not have a clue. None whatsoever. I honestly don’t think McMahon has a full grasp on how NIL and the portal works. He still thinks it’s 1997 and that you recruit high school talent to “program build.” It’s unfortunate that the fans have to sit through another year of this completely and utterly lackluster product.

He paid players while everyone else was, now there’s just more rules in place to do it over the table. It was an unwritten rule that all these dudes were getting paid. Now it’s written rules. And there was no absolute proof, only circumstantial evidence
