I’d much rather see Johnson get reps at QB
Me too. It can’t get that much worse. It’s getting to the point where we’d be better off punting the ball on first down and hoping the defense or special teams can get a score.

This is really strange - who cares. He should never play again. This post makes no sense.

He’s made enough to invest wisely and retire. Us baws will be working at the plant for the rest of our lives, but he was able to retire before even leaving college.

It's hard to heal a brain injury and Nuss had his little feelings hurt when Frank pulled him out of the game.

I doubt Nuss is even still with the program. He’s worried about the combine and pro day. MVG will get the start but let Johnson get some snaps at QB too.

Did his play suck, of course but there is no reason to hate him

No where in my post did I even suggest any hate for GN. My opinion is quite the opposite. My disdain remains wholly on BK’s failure regarding Nussmeier’s final season as a Tiger…

Behind this O-line? I don’t know but think he’s seen enough.

Fritz has to be looking forward to this game. Wilson doesn't have a clue how to coach on this level.

Besides Nuss, who else has quit on this team? Definitely not a good look for him.

Nothing to prove and nothing to gain for Nuss or LSU.
Why play another game with this offensive playbook, pass routes, running game and Oline. If it were me, I would remain injured.

Nuss has taken his last snap in a real football game.

The irony of him opting out to preserve his redshirt with an interim coach in the Texas bowl
And his college career ending at the Texas bowl with an interim coach and most likely opting out!!

No one in August thought this is how our season would end especially with LFK taking the reins !
