Will UCLA follow Tom Herman's bush league tactics for visiting teams?

Even if no A/C, weather can't be as hot as Austin.

Chip Kelly seems to like LSU and playing LSU is good for his program. I highly doubt it.

First of all the Rose Bowl holds about 90K people. In 2019 UCLA averaged just under 45k a game.

I am sure more UCLA fans will likely attend since they will be playing a bigger opponent, but I wouldn't be surprised if there ends up being almost as many LSU fans as UCLA fans at the game.

If anything, they might be as welcoming as possible because having people there spending money will be more valuable them right now.

Probably not. But the LA folks are telling me that Pasadena is pretty toasty in early September.

It could be near 100 degrees out there but the only saving grace is that there is not much humidity…….

If the AC isn’t working, it’s because it’s a shitty stadium.

You could be right. I expect Chip (and all other coaches) to be more professional and ethical than Tommy Boy.

So now we know that it will either be:

A- snowing

B- the most humid day in LA history

Gets a lot nicer in evening though. I'd imagine it'll drop into the 60s during the game.

Weather should not be a factor; however, how many of our fans have experienced a shake and bake?

My man, the stadium will have close to more LSU fans in it than UCLA fans. Memorial Day weekend, everyone out here goes to the beach not the stadium. They couldn’t Herman us even if they wanted to!

I seriously doubt Tom Herman had anything to do with the AC situation in LSU’s locker room.

There were no Bush League antics other than putting the band at 10,000 feet. Mostly it was about whiney LSU fans and a whining coach. Disgraceful!

It was bush league, but it was Texas, not Herman that was responsible.

They could turn the locker room into a sauna and covered in urine....wouldn't matter. Tigers will roll over the bruins.

It's not hot like that in Pasadena. I remember visiting my uncle there one July and everyone was freaking out about the heat. The highs were about 85. I was 8 or 9 and remember thinking this ain't shite what are y'all talking about?

Most definitely not. Only UT would pull some shite like that. Who would’ve guessed folks in California are more likely to be hospitable than Texas folks. Another example of how Austin is an island within the state.

I know everyone is pumped about this game, but the Rose Bowl is horrible, especially if packed. Great scenery around the stadium, but you really do not want to be there with 95K fans. The field is below the street level, so the portals you see in the pics, are the end of a tunnel. There are what seems like 120+ seats between the rows, so if the guy in the middle needs to leave, all stand. I am all of 5’6” & my knees touch the seat back directly in front. Was there for the Dallas/Michel Jackson Super Bowl; will never go back.

May make the trip & watch someplace else FWIW.
