Will the State Judge ever weigh in on Sankey’s contempt?

Subsequent threats (game of chicken) against LSU if it rostered the players is contrary to the State judge’s order.

My bet is this happens the moment the SEC tries to do something through conference bylaws.

He was going to let the federal suit play out because the conference is losing that one in every single timeline.

A party has to ask him to. The excluded players will do so unless some kind of settlement is reached beforehand, which will involve the SEC paying them.

The SEC absolutely violated the TRO. Obviously, LSU filled the open roster spots with other players due to the threat of expulsion by the SEC. If it comes down to it, LSU officials would have to testify to that.

But settlement is almost certainly already being discussed. The expulsion BS goes away for LSU (it already did), the SEC gets its way with leaving these players out, the players get a check and sign an NDA.

Doesn't Rousse's letter claim the exact opposite?

And does the TRO even apply until the players are rostered?

The players and LSU can easily argue they would’ve been rostered had the SEC not threatened 50% of payout, LK suspensions, expulsion, etc.

Let’s go to court and have Sankey explain why this case rose to the level of expulsion while Bedaiko, Chambliss, Paiva, Hutson were ignored.

Get Sankey back in BR to testify, make it happen Tony the rabbit not only has the Gun you have the might of the Speaker of the House behind you.

Lmao dude…

The TRO applies more than ever atp. They literally took action preventing the players from playing. This is precisely what they were instructed not to do, and the federal suit is not going to protect them.

The players can now prove damages if that’s the route they decide to go. And it sounds like the players are pursuing legal action against the SEC.

I assure you the players’ suits reference the TRO.

Agree, and if I’m Tony the more I think about this it’s $100M minimum now to settle. Make it hurt the SEC institutions and see the folly of following a feckless leader like Stankey and agreeing with dimwit woke bitch celebrating Kirk’s assassination.

I think we'd realistically need to file a motion for contempt.

Didn't LSU make the decision on this prior to these threats (expulsion, etc)?

Didn't Rouse confirm that in his letter?

Not being emotional-irrational in a sea of emotions creates that appearance

This almost certainly how it will Go.
The SEC will pay them and it will all quietly go away because they aren’t allowed to talk as a term of the settlement.

Agree this is most likely but the SEC is going to have to throw a ridiculous amount of money at these young men because they will threaten to walk away and begin the discovery phase if they don’t. I promise you the SEC does not want that lawsuit to go to discovery.

Rational has been thrown so far out the window it ain't funny and Sanky and the SEC did it

LSU decided not to roster the players, sanky knew it and webt ahead and amended the federal suit to include something KIFFEN said to a reporter

the letter Rouse supplied to sanky is evidence shows LSU complied shite they were threatened with being expelled, all the while texas, missouri. arkansas all had roster players that didn't make a NFL
roster

The only rational people in my opinion is LSU and the 2 players who are now gonna sue either/or sanky or the sec or both

Your statement of the facts means there is no argument that the threats in the suit caused LSU to act in any way, because LSU had already made the choice prior to the threats.

The players will have to argue these threats caused them harm by forcing LSU not to roster them. LSU has stated publicly the decision was made prior to these threats.
