Personally, I fully expect that there will be controversial calls that go against LSU this weekend. LSU better play very disciplined ball and still prepare to overcome bad calls.

Here’s a thing to think about. After the first two weeks I think it’s blatantly clear Ole Miss isn’t a Playoff team. They play at Texas and UGA too after us.

Don't keep the game close and the refs won't be a factor. I'm concerned if it is close they have a very good kicker.

I think more than anything refs tend to play to the crowd, whether consciously or subconsciously. If there’s a big play under review it seems like the home team usually gets the advantage. I have no stats to support that, only my perceived experience. A late pass into the end zone may draw a flag against LSU, while an obvious PI may be “missed” against OM (see 2023).
