Will Miles resign, or will he need to be fired?

Also, how ugly will this get now?
Would have been so much better for everyone if he'd have been fired last year. This is going to be a disaster.
And I'm not even talking about what's on the field.

It's not a good situation.

Our administration blew it last year.

I think that once the decision has been made, he will face the inevitable and resign, if just to save face for another coaching job.
If he allows himself to be fired, yes, he loses out financially, but is tarnished as a coach.

Its already as ugly as it gets .. Les is incapable of planning ahead, or rational thought, so he will need to be fired....

I think he will make Aleva fire him. He knows that Alleva has no stones and doesn't want to have to fire him. I truly think his goal will be to make Alleva look as incompetent as he can (which shouldn't take much)

10 years from now they're gonna be wheelchairing him out onto the field and he's gonna have a nurse spoon feeding him the grass

Fired. As dumb as Leslie's offense is, he's not an idiot. Why the heck would you retire and leave millions on the table?
Also, as long as people still buy merch and go to games, LSU has zero incentive to care. The Rant is done with Miles, but as A and M showed last year, the idiots that spend the money still love the old guy because he "does it right" or whatever the hell that means.

We keep hitting new lows.
When you think we can't fall any harder, it just gets worse.

There is already a Gofundme page set up to buy out his contract

They might have to go to him and work out some deal where he publicly resigns to save face but still gets his buyout. He's not going to walk away without getting paid

He seems too stubborn and prideful to resign.
I would be very impressed and shocked if he ever did.

I think they will definitely have to fire this terrible coach. He won't leave on his own accord. We are looking at a 7-5 year gentlemen. Losses coming from Alabama and Ole Miss for sure, while all the following are probable or possible: Auburn, Florida, Arkansas and Texas A&M.

These are the kind of conversations we should be having now. The season is essentially over and everyone knows what is coming. It's just a matter of time. I'm long since ready to move on and get started on the rebuild

The chance for him to gently be put out to pasture ended last year, when he resisted and made the media and soccer Moms cry for his life. It's gonna be ugly - and I don't care.

What?
You have this totally backwards.
LSU is off the hook financially if Les resigns.
He is owed his full buyout if he is fired.
