milam hit .428 in his last 3 SEC series with 6 walks.
he didn’t hit a home run the first 2 months of the season which mean he didn’t hit hit a home run against the OOC creampuffs young players sometimes pad their stats against.
He finished 2nd on the team with multi hit games

However Duplantis was proven. Milam has played 1 year. Let’s see if he becomes LSU’s all time leading hitter

Keep up vid. We are talking about Milams avg against quality arms versus OOC arms etc

So let’s take the best snapshot and pretend the rest didn’t happen

You said .275 is .275
but there’s a difference between starting at .275 and ending at .275 and starting at .111 and ending at .275 because you his .308 the next 25 games and ended the regular season hot as hell.
When you’re talking about a true freshmen you can chalk week one and 2 up to an adjustment period.

Yeah, because if he doesn't do that, he can't be considered a star. Good lord, some people on here...

We played scabs the back half of the sec schedule. Was bound to go up
You’re really not making me think he’s a great player when he had to use Auburn and Ole Miss to pull up his BA in conference play

For context, we had a moron on here saying he’s better than LSU’s all time leading hitter

I said his freshman season was better at the plate than Duplantis' best season in 4 years here. And unlike almost all your opinions in this thread I actually backed that up with a straight up fact of their slash lines.

You've completely ignored the posts about his stats against 4 SEC teams in 4 SEC series who were in the NCAA tournament, 2 of which played for the national title.
Let's repost it so you ignore it again:
- 3/9 with a walk against NCAA tournament team Vandy
- 3/10 against CWS champion Tennessee
- 4/9 with 2 walks against the CWS runner up Texas A&M
- 4/10 with 1 walk against NCAA tournament team Alabama
Thoughts?

ETA: Dylan Dreiling had a worse average, worse K rate, the same SLG, fewer SBs, fewer RBIs than Milam as a freshman and didn't even play a position.
lol thinking he knows who that is
