Maybe just maybe there was a reason MLB teams backed off of Cam Johnson. If he was as good as advertised then teams would have offered him a lot more money. Money you can't turn down. That didn't happen and he went in the 20th round.

Cam is one incredibly hyped dude who appears raw and needs more than 1 season to adjust to the increase in competition. From my understanding he also did not pitch a whole lot of innings in high school, but I have not verified that.

Burrreaauuxx is an absolute moron. His takes are borderline retarded and he loves to bash Johnson.
I’m really surprised he hasn’t been banned.

It’s 100% some other idiot’s alter.

75% of the returning infield is All-SEC caliber.

But it doesn't count because Milam batted 7th in the order in 2023. And Braswell was a portal guy. And Jones had trouble with the curve back in February.

Jones batting average dropped by 1 point this year. He obviously regressed.

And the other player is a likely 1st round d draft pick.

We went from having the deepest catching g rotation in the country to not being sure who will step up and play.

Usually when a player is considered to be a 1st baseman/catcher, they have deficiencies at catcher. We'll see if our freshman stud can catch, or we use Hernandez.

Nice to have him back. Good college-level slugger.

Will he be a star? I think it’s fair to call him one entering the season. But depends on his development and if we can get him protection. I’m optimistic he will be an above average SEC 3-4 hole hitter.

For telling it how it is? I said a lot of positive things about Jones but somehow that’s being translated into Debby Downer because I didn’t call him Eddie Furniss

It's like you and Lester Earl don't live in reality. You are both calling people out and regularly do the same stuff. You are every bit in the same category of stupidity as Nicolas and the OP.

You don't "tell it how it is" and your "positive things about jones" are all just back handed compliments. You were, once again, proven wrong. You are unable to acknowledge that. Jared Jones was a top 15 power bat in America last year and you referred to him as a "good college slugger."

You're arguments are entirely disingenuous.

False.

If he was a baller he would’ve been drafted.

MLB just validated me essentially by saying you’re not ready, try again another year in college

Jared Jones going undrafted as a draft eligible sophomore (by 1 day) proves literally none of what you just said.

see how easy it is to get you to revert back to form and show that your positive comments were entirely disingenuous?
