Honestly I hope he doesn’t. I want him to be the Heisman winner and get us to 9 wins, but I also want him to be a top 10 pick.
I would rather a loss with Nuss getting valuable experience than a win and Nuss not gaining anything at this point. After A@M we gotta start thinking about the future

Totally agree with you. Daniels has been nothing but humble, low key, and team-first about his success. Look at the way he and Nuss interact on the sideline. Everyone on the team loves him.
I definitely wouldn’t have a negative thought about Daniels if he sits out the bowl game. But it also wouldn’t shock me at all if he went with the team and played for a quarter before handing over the keys. That just seems like the kind of guy he is. We’ll see.

I think he will skip the bowl game. Textbook draft prep opt out candidate. If he was within range of any LSU total (not averages) records or milestones, I think he plays but he's either cleared those or doesn't have enough games left to come close. Will likely set the Total Yards Per Game school record after A&M. He will break Burrows LSU and Mac Jones SEC record for passing yards per attempt and yards per play.
Also, some stat guru needs to do the math. But Jayden Daniels is in set to set the NCAA Record for Passer Rating.

Kelly wants nothing more than for JD to win the Heisman, he didn’t need any convincing, and I can’t fathom a single reason anyone claiming to be an LSU fan would be opposed to him staying in that game to help make that happen.

If Jaden was concerned about being cautious and trying to avoid injury, he probably wouldn’t continuously throw his body into oncoming defenders at 20 mph to try and gain a few extra yards. He will play in bowl.
