Happy Will had a good game, he's taken alot of criticism an honestly legit criticism in many aspects IMHO.

He's a 7-footer who doesn't rebound and provides almost zero rim protection. To justify the playing time he's been getting he almost has to have a game like today offensively.

I'm glad he did and hope he can even give us half of that offensively for the remainder of the year because honestly the other two aspects are not ever going to be strengths of his.

Likely wont happen, he is too slow to rebound at a decent level

As Al McGuire would say " He plays in a tuxedo." The tuxedo fit perfectly today.

So following the big win you immediately ran to the box score to find something to bitch about?

Today was the Baker LSU thought/hoped they were getting when the signed him. A big who could stretch the floor and have a good post play inside. Basically a KJ Williams replacement. He’s a below average defender and worse rebounder. So you HAD to have his offense to justify playing him big minutes. Today you got it and the dominance of the game from start to finish reflected it

I didn’t think you had a high enough IQ to know how to use the search box. I’m semi impressed.

The stat line is deceiving. He contributed a lot. A few times he got out of position to help defensively. He also went to the floor to get a jump ball. He also drew a couple of fouls when he was pushed in the back, where he would’ve had the rebound. He was fantastic, regardless of the credits he got for rebounds.

He came in billed as a good 3-point shooter for a big man. We had not seen much sign of that until very recently.

And he limited the forced back down dribble shite he's been doing all year today and played more the role he can succeed in doing today.

Yeah, you'd like to see a man his size rebound more and defend the rim better but at this point it's obvious at this point that's just never going to be something he will provide.

He even had a nifty assist late which is something that is always going to be there for him, but he never really has taken advantage of that, and the way teams defend him, he has to look for that more.

Much more concerned with what our team rebounding percentage looked like. We give up about 10 offensive rebounds a game, which is not great. Yesterday we only gave up 6. If Baker is in position and putting a body on the other team’s big, I don’t really care if he grabs the rebound or it falls to one of our other players instead.

He us what he is. He's a difference maker on offense, we just need someone like Reed or Fountain (actually better, but we don't have options) to be on the floor with him to pick up the slack
