Please just explain how that's justified or interesting?

Well, if it makes you feel better, we LOOK like a 5-loss team.

LSU always gets fricked in the bowl selection process and gets dumped into lesser bowls.

Bowls used to mean something to the fan and I think it used to mean more to a player. When half of division 1A or FBS (what ever it's called now) gets to go to a bowl, it's watered down now. It's like getting a gold participation star.

It's where LSU is as a program, and perception follows, now hope for a "w".

The bowl committee wants evenly matched teams.

To show that with Les offense and the Steel curtain we can still lose to a 5 loss team.

LSU needs to play a team that they can possibly beat. They desperately need some momentum going into February.

no lsu doesn't. lsu has lost 3 of its last four bowl games and you think they deserved a more prestigious bowl or better opponent?

This is the answer.

Especially in the age of CFP, bowls won't mean a thing other than a team had a winning season and a chance to play a team you don't typically get to play otherwise in a different location.

LSU constantly gets fricked by the lack of hierarchy when it comes to getting a better bowl.

How many times have we been relegated to the Peach Bowl when lesser SECE teams were playing in NYD bowl games in the past?

Shitloads of time.
