Are you assuming Vandy isn't in the SEC for this?
Even if Vandy did count--Nashville is awesome.

And Auburn isn't that bad at all and it's waaaaaaay better than College Station.

Never been to Starkvegas but I would imagine it has to suck pretty bad

No he's not. Auburn is top half of SEC in terms of road trip. Missouri, Vandy, Kentucky, Ms. State, Florida, Arkansas are all worse road trips.

It appears I'm not in the minority.

Call them whatever you want, but Auburn is fun as hell if you hang with the right people. Haven't been there since 2006, so maybe things changed. Idk.

Then again, I've never not had fun on a road trip. I like all the schools. But I've never been to Vandy or MSU.

Whatever, dude.

Auburn is a great university and is a great college town.

Jordan Hare is the best stadium in the SEC, by far.

Auburn fans are generally amazing.

I love LSU, but I have to disagree with everything that you've said here. Auburn gets my utmost respect. The LSU-Auburn games that I have been to there have been deafening. LSU has won 2 out of 3 (I was at the 2006 RefGate), but the fans are hostile, loud, and proud of their team.

And, they stay all 4 quarters and scream like maniacs the entire time.

Maybe because since 2005 they have the same number of SEC championships and National Championships (and appearances) as LSU. With 2 different coaches.

Auburn, Georgia and Ole Miss are probably the best college towns. As great as a campus as everyone wants to think LSU is, it's really a shell of its former self.

Auburn is my favorite road trip to make. I did it three times in my younger days. I also like stopping in Auburn on the way to UGA games or SEC Championships.

Bar scene in CS is legit though. Hot blondes everywhere.

It is pretty boring there. Pretty, but boring.

It's like Mississippi State, but a whole lot nicer.

If I'm a top recruit and wanted to play in the SEC, I would go to either Georgia or Vanderbilt.

I disagree. The campus is nicely laid out, people are friendly, and the bars are certainly nicer than tigerland

I like making the trip to Auburn. Not sure what makes it suck so bad in your eyes. I also had a friend graduate from Auburn years ago and I would come up a few times a year to party with them and always had a great time.
