Why is the 3 games in 12 days suddenly now an issue?

Why are people now concerned about moving the A&M game now? You do know we were to play South Alabama on Sat and then A&M on Thur. Is it because now we play Florida in instead that it is a big issue. Nothing really changed in the days between games except we play a different opponent.
I understand Florida is a much tougher opponent but shite happens and we just need to wreck shite up and kick some arse.

I was more worried about the 3 games if the schedule was going to be:

@Ark
@UF
@A&M

Home game makes it a little more palatable to me

Florida =/= South Alabama is why it's different.

Apparently you don't Bc this is the answer to your question.

The bigger gripe I have is LSU still needlessly loses a game this year, and next year too. All Florida had to do was play on Sunday.

That's the issue. Went from having an easy game (on paper) where starters wouldn't have to play as much and more players could rotate. To a game where the team potentially has to go hard the whole time, after going hard on the road the previous week followed by another hard team on a short week on the road.

Three conference games in 12-13 days is pretty intense.

It has been pointed out plenty of times ... even Danielson pointed it out to Sankey in an interview during the CBS game halftime show last week.

There was an sort of equity, more or less, when it was S Alabama. A&M plays UTSA the weekend before.

Now, LSU gets a top 25 conference foe. No disrespect to Coach Frank but, c'mon...

This would be the only way A&M could beat LSU.

Mainly, on the list of possible solutions, this solution ranks about 5th. Maybe lower.

Oregon must be pissed because he knows he can't run the table with that schedule and it would take that for him to keep the job long-term.

Because there just so happens to be a huge difference between playing the university of south alabama jaguars and playing the university of florida gaytors you fricking idiot. So in effect, we're going to have a road game vs a ranked arkansas team, a home game vs a ranked florida team, then we turn around quickly and play an away game vs a ranked texas am team on a short week. I can't believe you've got to have this explained to you. Jesus christ.

We never schedule a game on thanksgiving if we have an SEC opponent the saturday before. It would never happen

the problem would have been two fold (and it was both as a sum that made the issue):

1. replace cupcake with SEC opponent
2. replace home with away

So it's (1) 3 SEC games in a row (2) on the road in 13 days that was the issue. Not just X games in Y time.

If I'm not mistaken, A&M played 3 away games in 13 days in 2012
