I'm on my phone so I'm not going to try and search for a link. I don't need a damn link. I was at the game and watched it happen. If you watched the auburn game last year you would know what I'm talking about.

Yeah I do and you need to watch it again. He jumped up and stretched his arms out in the middle of 3 Auburn defenders. It was a shitty pass.

Why? Because anyone who understands football can see that Randle is a true receiver with exceptional ability. Shepard was not a WR in high school but played QB and was expected to play QB at LSU. However, Shepard does not have the arm and size to play QB at the SEC level so he was moved to WR to hopefully take advantage of his athletic ability. Despite his athletic ability, Shepard cannot catch the ball fluidly because he is not a natural receiver and, as a result, he has struggled..

Randle's mediocre numbers have had much more to do with the ineffectiveness at offensive coordinator and QB than any lack of effort and ability on his part. Shepard is nowhere near the category of Randle as a receiver.

If you doubt what I am telling you, then watch who plays at the next level. It will not be Shepard.

Did you see the passing game last year? Hint, it wasn't Sheps or Randle's fault.

Who had the most yards per carry in 2009 their true freshman year? Shepard has dropped the ball some, but not that much more than others. Please provide how many drops he's had compared to others. I have followed Shep very closely. "Percy Harvin"? He was recruited as a QB and after sitting out all of the Florida game where we had no offense he went to the coaches. Im not knocking Randle but he hasn't set the world on fire either. I think it was bad QB, OC, and Mainly head coach fault for their lack of success! Shepard should have never sat out 2 games in 2009!

That "pass" you claim Randle dropped was like 12 ft up in the air. JJ threw it way to high, and it grazed Randle's fingertips before being intercepted. That was 99% JJ's fault. It was the patented JJ screwup that he also displayed on the first drive of the A&M game, which was his supposed best game

He's not a bust. The kid isn't even finished with his LSU career yet. My god.

Neither is a bust. That's just stupid. RS has had to learn an entirely new position at the highest level of college football without a stable QB capable so far of getting the ball to him consistently. RR is a great receiver but you have to get him the ball more and in better places at better times. These are going to be great players before they leave LSU.

I have seen with my own two eyes Randle drop some critical passes so don't sit here and say he hasn't. One that sticks out is last year against Auburn we were driving and Randle let's a good ball go through his hands on about Auburn's 25 yard line and ended up being an interception. If we scored here it could have changed the game. I'd say that was a pretty critical drop

My eyes see Randle constantly getting open and catching everything that hits him. He has the worst qb in Div 1 and now he's being called a bust

RS = the most underused football talent in the history of LSU football. Okay, I exaggerate, but the point is that it is hard to be labled a bust when you get so few touches.

The biggest pass I've seen RR drop was in the cap one bowl. That could've won the game.

Because Randle smoked Mark Barron last year and Shep got caught from behind by Barron.

IMO, it's too early to deem either a success or a bust. The lack of identity on O has left both wondering 'where do I fit in.'

Shep needs to be used on pitches/sweeps/screens if jj could throw a good screen shep would be deadly. I am not liking shep on post and fades though.

He would also shine on the option.

If we had a quarterback worth a damn, they wouldn't be saying this.
